The project consists of 50 affordable apartments for at-risk seniors. The building will be operated by one of Toronto's largest social service organizations, WoodGreen Community Services. Amenities include a new commercial kitchen, community food bank, a landscaped courtyard for the residents, and space designated for the congregation.
The adaptive reuse project maintains the site as a landmark by preserving the two towers and the full front face of the church, while adding an eight-storey mass timber residential structure.
